The widgets cost nothing.

As a distribution partner you only earn. As a supplier you pay the same rate on bookings of your offers through your widget as on any other booking with us. The amounts are in your contract.

Settlement

One rule for every widget.

What counts is who owns the widget and who owns the booked offer. Payment always works the same way: the guest pays Swiss Activities, and we settle with you.

What does a widget cost?

Nothing. No setup fee, no monthly fee. Distribution partners earn on the bookings. Suppliers pay the rate in their contract on bookings of their offers through their own widget, as on any other booking. Alpi is free during the pilot.

How long does setup take?

Signing up takes about three minutes. Right after, you build your first widget in the partner portal in one to five minutes depending on the kind and see it in the preview. We review your application personally; once it is approved, you publish the widget with one click and paste the code in about a minute. In the pilot we set up Alpi together with you.

How do I earn as a distribution partner?

With commission on every booking through your widget, including rail passes and SBB tickets. The amount is in your contract, and you find the reporting in the partner portal.

What is in it for me as a supplier?

Guests book your offer right on your website, with calendar and payment. We take the payment, send the tickets and handle customer service; each booking is settled under your contract like any other. Commission on rail passes and SBB tickets sold through your widget is coming soon.

Who collects the payment?

We do. Your guests pay Swiss Activities directly and get their confirmation and tickets from us. Our customer service handles cancellations and questions; you have nothing to do with the payment.

Does the widget set cookies?

The experiences widget does not. For the length of the visit it only keeps a random session number in the browser so we can count views and clicks. The other widgets and the booking run in a swissactivities.com window, where our privacy policy applies.

Which languages do the widgets speak?

German, French, Italian and English. The language is set in the embed code, so every widget matches the language version of your site.
